Marcus Stroman is Forming Star-Studded USA Roster for WBC 2021

With no baseball to broadcast right now, MLB Network has been forced to find different historical games to cast.

A few days ago, they were airing a re-run of the 2017 USA WBC Championship. They later posted on Instagram the stunning marvelous catch of Adam Jones and said the following:

Marcus Stroman of the New York Mets, Eric Hosmer of the San Diego Padres, and Christian Yelich of the Milwaukee Brewers appear to be ready to return to the absolutely dominant USA roster, but Stroman was still hungry to get even more star power on the roster.

Story would gladly join, as made apparent above.

When a fan suggested Pete Alonso, here was Stroman’s and Alonso’s response:

This roster will be insanely good.

Here is what the current breakdown looks like:

1B: Pete Alonso

2B: DJ LeMahieu

3B: Nolan Arenado

SS: Trevor Story

C: TBD

LF: Joey Gallo

CF: Cody Bellinger

RF: Christian Yelich

DH: Eric Hosmer

BN: David Dahl

BN: Whit Merrifield

P: Marcus Stroman

P: Mike Clevinger

P: Walker Buehler

P: Trevor Bauer

P: Blake Snell

CL: Archie Bradley

Just look at that roster.

Even if nobody else is added, USA is quite literally taking the best players in the league and putting them on one team.

One can only imagine what would happen if Mookie Betts, Aaron Judge, Bo Bichette, and Mike Trout respond.
