Antonio Brown Released From Jail on Bond

The Antonio Brown saga continues and it seems that it isn’t going to end anytime soon. On Thursday night, Brown turned himself in to Broward County Jail after there was a warrant for his arrest. On Friday, Brown was granted bail and was released from jail on bond.

The bond was set at $100,000 for a felony burglary charge. Brown was charged with felony burglary with battery, burglary of an unoccupied conveyance and criminal mischief. He is accused of throwing a rock at a moving truck and assaulting the moving truck driver after a disagreement overpayment.

Brown will be monitored by GPS. The judge ordered that he surrender his passport and guns, go through drug and alcohol testing, and have a mental health evaluation. The mental health evaluation must happen within 10 days of Brown’s release from jail. Brown’s lawyer Eric Schwartzreich doesn’t believe that Brown has a mental health problem.

“I don’t think there’s any mental health issues with him. Antonio Brown’s life right now is a reality show,” Schwartzreich said. “He is misinterpreted and misunderstood. He’s not guilty of these charges. He did not commit a felony battery. In this case, when all the facts come out, you will see he will be vindicated and he will be found not guilty.”

Whether or not Brown has a mental health issue it’s clear that he needs help. He needs help and needs to get it now. He has been out of control for the past couple of months and he’s not getting better.

Brown was released from the Oakland Raiders before the season. He played in one game for the New England Patriots before being released by the Patriots. He has filed eight grievances against the Raiders and Patriots, wanting $39.775 million in lost salary, bonuses, and guaranteed money, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano.

Hopefully Brown gets the help that he clearly needs. He shouldn’t play again until he gets help and is 100 percent better.
