In Week 13, I earned to a double-digit win total, going 10-6 with my weekly picks. Here are my picks for Week 14.
Cowboys 10, Bears 13
The Bears’ defense will step up against Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ offense. Jason Garrett‘s job security will grow ever thinner.
Panthers 21, Falcons 31
The first game after the end of the Riverboat Ron Era will be a tough one for the Panthers. The Falcons get the victory here.
Ravens 34, Bills 17
Although this game feels like a “trap game,” it will get out of hand quickly. I see more fourth-quarter playing time for Robert Griffin III. The loss will drop the Bills into the crowded pool of in-the-hunt teams in the AFC.
Upset: Bengals 24, Browns 21
In the battle for Ohio, the Bengals will extend their season-high win streak to two games.
Redskins 17, Packers 34
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers will be too much for Dwayne Haskins and the Redskins to keep up with on the scoreboard.
Lions 21, Vikings 31
The Vikings will continue their push for a postseason game, although it looks likely they’ll be without running back Dalvin Cook for this game. Kirk Cousins will throw four touchdowns in this one.
49ers 24, Saints 27
Drew Brees, while it won’t be a cakewalk, will lead his team to a win on a late game-winning drive. The Saints will inch even closer to earning home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Dolphins 34, Jets 20
The Dolphins will win this game fairly easily. They won’t even need a trick play to do it.
Colts 21, Buccaneers 31
The Colts will suffer the same fate the Jaguars did last week. Jameis Winston will do enough not to lose this game.
Upset: Broncos 24 Texans 21
Drew Lock will give the Broncos fans, a second look at what next season could look like. The loss will erase the Texans chokehold on the AFC South.
Chargers 17, Jaguars 24
Minshew Magic returns and brings his team back into the win column, which will lead to questions about Nick Foles. This could also be the last time we see Philip Rivers in a Chargers uniform.
Titans 34, Raiders 10
The Raiders playoff hopes all but disintegrated after losses to the Jets and Chiefs. The Titans are pushing for the top spot in the AFC South. Derrick Henry will have another 150 yards rushing and a touchdown or two.
Chiefs 24, Patriots 27
The Chiefs are finally coming together, while the Patriots look to be slowly unraveling. The only reason I’m going with New England is because they are playing at home.
Upset: Steelers 17, Cardinals 24
Kyler Murray will lead his team to a victory at home. The loss will dampen the Steelers’ playoff chances … at least, for this week.
Seahawks 27, Rams 24
Although the Rams looked like the Rams of a season ago, they were playing the Cardinals and a rookie quarterback. Russell Wilson still has his groove going. The Seahawks will win a nail-biter.
Giants 21, Eagles 24
The likely return of Eli Manning, won’t help against the Eagles. Philadelphia still has hopes of the playoffs.
