Josh McDaniels Gives Update on N’Keal Harry

The New England Patriots and their fans will likely not have to wait much longer for N’Keal Harry to make his debut.

Having returned to the practice field in mid-October, the Arizona State alum has been working his way back to full-strength.

Harry who was ruled out against the Baltimore Ravens, was seemingly healthy and even warming up before Sunday Night Football.

The likely reason for this was to make sure he is fully healed and ready. A precaution that gave the rookie even more time to heal physically and farther along in the offense with more hours in the playbook.

Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels gave a positive outlook on Harry’s progress as he gets ready to don No.15 for the first time.

“He continues to make progress,” McDaniels told reporters on a conference call. “Works hard. Each week is an opportunity that we’re trying to add in terms of the things he can do, the things he’s comfortable doing, the things we’re comfortable with him doing within our offense and I think it’s all positive.”

McDaniels and company are working to get Harry as ready as they possibly can for the stretch run.

“Everybody’s working hard for the same goal,” McDaniels said. “Which is to have him contribute and help us win games moving forward. So, nothing other than that to add to it.”

McDaniels and the Patriots take on the Philadelphia Eagles in a 2017 Super Bowl rematch on Sunday at 4:25 p.m.
