There is an exciting slate of 11 games on Sunday. Here are final score predictions for all of the Week 10 Sunday contests, with reasoning.
Keep track of my “Sunday Score” all season long. This weighted formula gives me five points for every correct outcome. For every team whose score I predict exactly correct, I get an additional three points. Here’s how I’ve fared so far:
Sunday Score: 408
Winner/Loser picked correctly: 69/114
Week 10
Kansas City Chiefs 34, Tennessee Titans 23
The Kansas City Chiefs welcome back Patrick Mahomes this week while the Titans will be without Jurrell Casey and Delanie Walker, further widening the gap in skill level between these two teams. The Titans will get on the board several times, but the Chiefs will win by multiple scores.
Arizona Cardinals 23, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 21
These are a pair of really evenly-matched teams. The Cardinals are on the rise while the Bucs have seen a mild resurgence. Tampa Bay returns home for the first time in eight weeks, but Arizona has the edge in this one.
New York Giants 31, New York Jets 10
The Giants may only have two wins this season, but the Jets just lost to the Miami Dolphins. This Giants offense should be electric in this “away” game that played at their home stadium.
Atlanta Falcons 17, New Orleans Saints 31
At the start of the season, I would’ve reversed the scores in this one, but the Falcons have played terrible football. Meanwhile, the Saints just can’t lose. Atlanta may score a garbage time touchdown but won’t make it close.
Buffalo Bills 24, Cleveland Browns 9
The Bills will dominate this game in all forms. Their defense will silence Baker Mayfield while their offense should pick apart the Cleveland defense with a variety of rushes and passes.
Baltimore Ravens 23, Cincinnati Bengals 17
The score implies a close game, but watching the game itself will prove that this game is in Baltimore’s hands all day long. Baltimore will run wild against this Cincinnati defense.
Detroit Lions 16, Chicago Bears 20
Matthew Stafford is going to be the difference-maker in this one. With the veteran out, I will give the edge to Chicago. The Bears have played miserable football lately but I expect their defense to bring their own offense back on to the field in this one. We’re going to see a lot of turnovers.
Miami Dolphins 17, Indianapolis Colts 21
The Dolphins beat the Jets last week and the Colts are without Jacoby Brissett. However, I can’t see a way for the Dolphins to pull off their second consecutive victory in this one.
Los Angeles Rams 34, Pittsburgh Steelers 20
Mason Rudolph has been playing some unpredictable football as of late and is coming off a pair of wins that suddenly made this Steelers team .500 on the year. However, the Rams are the Rams, and their offense will challenge a strong Pittsburgh defense.
Carolina Panthers 21, Green Bay Packers 24
Last week’s Packers loss to Los Angeles made me ponder whether or not Green Bay can win this game vs. Carolina. In the end, the Panthers’ defense will prove they took note of what Los Angeles did, but they won’t be able to pull off the win against the Packers.
Minnesota Vikings 20, Dallas Cowboys 33
As silly as it may sound, the Vikings have been terrible during primetime. That’s all I’ve got.
