The Oakland Raiders added another receiver to their roster. The team signed free-agent receiver Tyrell Williams to a deal worth $44 million, with a max value of $47 million and $22 million guaranteed for four years.

Williams played last season with the Los Angeles Chargers. He caught 41 passes for 653 yards and five touchdowns. When in a more significant role in 2016, he posted 1,059 yards receiving.
Williams adds size and speed to the Raiders receiving corps. He will be joining Antonio Brown as new targets for Derek Carr. Williams will take the top off the defense and allow Brown and Jordy Nelson to have room underneath on short and intermediate routes. Along with being a deep threat, at 6-foot-4, Williams will be a nice red zone target for Carr, as the Raiders struggled in the red zone last season. He also adds an outstanding catch radius; the ball can be a little off target and he will still get it.

Carr should be happy with the new additions, as he will have a chance to play with some of the most talented wide receivers in the league. Put up or shut up time for Carr now.
