The Philadelphia 76ers are bringing back free agent forward Tobias Harris on a five-year, $180 million contract, his father and agent tells ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Harris was drafted in 2011 as a first-round pick by the Charlotte Bobcats, but minutes later was dealt to the Milwaukee Bucks in a three-team deal involving eight players. He played out the 2011-12 season and part of the 2012-13 campaign with Milwaukee, but was dealt to the Orlando Magic in a six-player deal in February 2013. In 2015, Harris signed an extension with Orlando, but months later, in 2016, he was deal to the Pistons for Ersan Ilyasova and Brandon Jennings. He wasn’t done moving around, though, as less than two years after arriving in Detroit, he was traded in 2018 to the Los Angeles Clippers in a deal that included Avery Bradley and Blake Griffin. He’d be on the move in another year, though, as the Clippers traded him in February along with Boban Marjanovic and Mike Scott to the Philadelphia 76ers for Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, Landry Shamet, two first-round picks, and two second-round picks.
This past season, for the second time in his career, Harris started all 82 regular season games, this time doing it for two teams after the Clippers dealt him to the 76ers. He averaged 34.7 minutes on the floor per game, recording an average of 20 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.5 blocks. From beyond the arc, inside the arc, and from the foul line, Harris recorded percentages of .397, .528, and .866, respectively.
