The New York Giants are set to reunite Antoine Bethea with his former defensive coordinator James Bettcher.
Veteran safety Antoine Bethea will sign a two-year contract with the New York Giants according to his former teammate Reggie Wayne.

This is likely just the first Giants move at the safety position this off-season as the team moves forward without Landon Collins who plans to sign with the Washington Redskins.
Bethea is entering his 14th NFL season and will now join his fourth team. He is a three-time pro bowler who is still very effective.
In 2018 with the Arizona Cardinals Bethea recorded 121 total tackles which was the second highest mark of his carer.
Bethea will serve as the likely starter in Collins’ former role and as a mentor to the Giants younger secondary pieces such as Curtis Riley and any other newcomers.
The Giants also add a player familiar with second-year defensive coordinator James Bettcher. Bettcher coached Bethea in Arizona in 2017 as their defensive coordinator.
Bethea adds a veteran presence to a defense set to get a significant makeover in the upcoming NFL Draft.
