The Oakland Raiders busy off-season rolls on as they are set to sign Lamarcus Joyner.
Free Safety Lamarcus Joyner is expected to sign with the Oakland Raiders according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The #Raiders are expected to sign for former #Rams franchise player, safety Lamarcus Joyner, sources say. A free safety that gives them speed in the secondary.

Oakland’s off-season is off to a busy start. Sunday they traded for all-pro wide receiver Antonio Brown. On Monday’s first day of the legal tampering period, they started their day with the addition of offensive tackle Trent Brown and to top off the big start they now are set to add Joyner.
Joyner was a pivotal piece to a Rams defense fresh off a super bowl appearance. In five seasons with the Rams Joyner made 305 total tackles.
In 2018 he made 78 total tackles, grabbed an interception, and defended three passes.
Joyner will join a Raiders secondary that finished 19th in passing defense a year ago. His addition should help Oakland get closer to the top half of the league as he is likely just their first addition in the secondary in what promises to continue to be a busy off-season.
