Former Rams offensive lineman Rodger Saffold is in agreement with the Tennessee Titans on a four-year, $44 million deal, according to ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter. The deal includes $22.5 million guaranteed.

The former second-round draft selection had spent the first nine years of his career with the Los Angeles (and at one point, St. Louis) Rams before his new deal with the Titans, starting 111 of the 114 games he played in. In 2018, he started all 16 of the games he appeared in.
Although the Rams were not willing to pay Safford the $44 million over four seasons, he gets that deal from the Titans, as it will be his duty to protect the oft-injured Marcus Mariota.
