Immediately following the trade, Jackson inked a new deal with the Eagles that re-works his previous contract into a new deal worth $27 million over three seasons, per ESPN’s Tim McManus.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the re-worked contract guarantees Jackson $13 million.
In 2018, Jackson started 10 games while appearing in a total of 12, hauling in 41 of the 74 passes thrown his way for 774 yards and four touchdowns. Jackson returns to the team that drafted him in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft; after he was drafted, Jackson stayed in Philadelphia for five years before bouncing over to the Washington Redskins for three years and the Bucs for two.
This move seems to work out well for all three parties. The Eagles add a speedy deep threat who can contribute often. The Buccaneers are no longer responsible for the large cap damage that came with Jackson. And, finally, Jackson is no longer unhappy as he returns to the city he wanted to go to for several weeks now.
