The New England Patriots are bringing back one of their old draft picks.
Per reports, the Patriots have re-signed safety Jordan Richards.

Richards, 26, was selected by the Patriots out of Stanford in the second round of the NFL Draft.
He was a part of the 2016 Super Bowl team that beat the Atlanta Falcons.
Ironically, he was traded to the Atlanta Falcons for a conditional seventh-round pick.
He spent this past summer with the Oakland Raiders and was released as part of their final roster cuts on August 30.
This fills the last roster spot remaining. Fans were hoping for a possible big-name receiver being acquired via trade.
However, with only $2,851,550 in salary cap space, absorbing the contract of Stefon Diggs is just not plausible.
