The New England Patriots are giving a former second-round draft pick another shot.
Per reports the Super Bowl champions had safety Su’a Cravens in town for a workout.

Cravens, 24, was selected by the Redskins in the 2016 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, the USC alum juggled between linebacker and safety.
In his sophomore season, he announced his retirement suddenly a week before the start of the 2017 campaign as a result of post-concussion syndrome.
He then voiced his intentions to return to the Redskins before being traded to the Denver Broncos for a fifth-round selection.
He was limited in his play in 2018 and was released this Summer as part of the Bronco’s final cuts.
What possibly makes the Patriots interested in his services is the fact that he can play multiple positions.
Head coach Bill Belichick has notoriously kept multiple players around with multiple skill sets. Including wide receivers who play purely special teams or cornerbacks who can play safety.
