7. Jensen Beach Tigers

This isn’t even an indoor/arena football team. This is an outdoor developmental team. It’s bad enough the American Arena League plays teams out of league, but an outdoor team is a bit too far.

6. llinois Renegades

The Renegades went 2-3 in the Indoor Football Association. They still made the playoffs because the league was down to just five teams after the defending champion Rockford Rams ended their season early. In their only AAL game, they were shutout by the Western Michigan Ironmen, 95-0.

5. Carolina Aviators

The expansion franchise is 2-1 in the league standings, but they are no match for an AAL team. They proved that with their 72-7 loss to the Carolina Havoc. They still have another AAL game against the Carolina Energy this Saturday.

4. Southern Steam

The inaugural EIF champion who also played in the second EIF championship game was no match for the Cape Fear Heroes in their only AAL game. They lost by a final score of 68-30. They can continue to perform well in the EIF, but that’s about it.

3. Jersey Bearcats

The AAL affiliate has played just one game so far, but did show fight. A couple turnovers led to their downfall against the New England Bobcats. They will play the Jersey Flight May 25.

In the MIFL, however, they are atop the league standings and have two shutout wins on the season. They are coming off a 39-30 win over a tough Hunting Park Seminoles team, as well as a 19-18 win over the hot Steel City Stampede after being down 18-6 at halftime back on April 27.

2. High Point Wildcats

Of all the non-league teams, the Wildcats have shown the most resiliency. They combined for 66 points against the West Virginia Roughriders and Heroes. They also kept it close for a non-league team, losing by just 22 and 18 perceptively

1. Reading Raptors

Reading has won close to 50 games in a row. They have played in a couple AAL games this season and have scored an average of 51 points in those games. They are the most unstoppable team in all of indoor/arena football and are way above their competition in the Mid-Atlantic Indoor Football League (MAIFL).
