Report: Patriots to Sign Offensive Tackle

The New England Patriots are reportedly adding some much needed depth on the offensive line.

Per Ian Rapoport, the team has reportedly agreed to terms with offensive tackle Jared Veldheer.

Veldheer, 31, was drafted in the 3rd round by the Oakland Raiders in 2010. He has also played for the Arizona Cardinals, and Denver Broncos participating in 118 contests and starting 113 of them.

This adds much needed depth as other than Marcus Cannon, the starting experience at the tackle position is slim with players like Cole Croston, Cedrick Lang, rookie Yodney Cajuste, Hjalte Froholdt, and Dan Skipper behind he and Isaiah Wynn on the depth chart.
