Report: Pastrnak out after Undergoing Surgery

General manager Don Sweeney addressed the media today after practice saying that forward David Pastrnak underwent a procedure on his left thumb. The repair was successful and he will be out for the next two weeks then re-evaluated.

Pastrnak obtained the injury after falling down while walking to his transportation after a team sponsorship dinner Saturday night.

Pastrnak has 31 points and 35 assists in 56 games on the year and was selected to his first All-Star Game in San Jose this past January.
