Report: Wide Receiver Leaving Team

It’s an end to a tenure that started with promise, as wide receiver Josh Gordon is reportedly stepping away from the New England Patriots due to his mental health.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero broke the reason why on his Twitter account, stating Gordon is facing an indefinite suspension.

Gordon released a statement on his Twitter thanking the Patriots organization for being behind him during his time with the team.

Gordon final stats for the 2018 season are 41 receptions for 737 yards and four touchdowns.

The Patriots take on the Buffalo Bills at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
