Gordon Hayward Entertains Thousands With Fortnite Streams

Gordon Hayward—who missed the entire 2017-18 NBA season with a leg injury—apparently spent lots of his free time working on an entire separate craft.

Fortnite is one of the most popular games at the moment and it has found its way to millions of gamers, celebrities, athletes, and more. One of those people turns out to be Hayward, who has become a huge fan of the battle royale game over the course of his recovery.

In fact, the All-Star has played so much Fortnite that he is poised to take on any of his peers. Hayward took to Twitter last Tuesday to brag about his skills and challenge other athletes to beat him at the game.

Hayward shows off his skills by live streaming matches on his Twitch account, where he interacts with viewers by answering questions and participating in conversations that start via the live chat. Fans can also get a sneak peek at his life as a family man when his wife Robyn or either of his two daughters stops by to give a warm welcome.

During his stream, Hayward spoke on how excited he is to play for Boston and further confirmed that he will be good to go come preseason. This leaves the Butler University product just under two months to further his gaming career, with the Celtics set to play their first preseason game on Sept. 28.
