Midseason moves are not the most thrilling ever made, but one has officially been made an exception.
The New England Patriots have claimed tight end Martellus Bennett off of waivers just a day after he was released by the Green Bay Packers.
Bennett (30) was on the Super Bowl winning roster last year recording 55 receptions for 701 yards and a career-high seven touchdowns.
Bennett will play an immediate and key role in the offense taking his place as originally envisioned beside fellow tight end Rob Gronkowski.
