The NFL season seems to go by faster as the years go on. We are already at Week 14, which showcased some incredible games, including the matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams.
As a result, the Los Angeles Rams have earned this week’s NFL Team of the Week title for their outstanding performance against the Bills, a first-time honor this season.
The Offense Balled Out
Matthew Stafford delivered one of his best performances of the season against a top-10 defensive unit. In this game, he completed 23 of 30 passes for 320 yards and two touchdowns.
The touchdowns were caught by Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp, the Rams’ top two receivers. In this game, Stafford played smart, mistake-free football, which is crucial when facing a defense of such high caliber.
There isn’t film I enjoy watching more than when Matthew Stafford is on a heater. He makes it look easy.
Looks off the safety and then casually comes back and puts the ball on a rope to Cooper Kupp down the seam.

Puka Nacua is a Diamond in the Rough
Against a Bills secondary ranked eighth in the league, Nacua delivered an impressive performance with 12 receptions for 162 yards — his highest yardage in a game this season — along with a touchdown. He was also involved in the Rams’ running game with five rushes for 16 yards and an additional touchdown.
To top it off, Nacua made a sensational sideline catch, demonstrating why he deserves to be considered a top-five wide receiver in the NFL. Don’t forget that Nacua was selected 177th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, proving to be a true diamond in the rough for the Rams.
Other Offensive Weapons
Nacua is not the only offensive star on the Rams’ roster. They also have Kupp and Kyren Williams, both of whom are significant offensive threats that any defense must strategize against.

In this game, Kupp recorded five catches for 92 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Williams showcased his skills with 29 carries for 87 yards and two touchdowns, plus two catches for an additional 10 receiving yards. He has 1,013 yards this season, ranking fifth in the league. He is second in carries with 251 attempts and tied for third among all running backs with 12 touchdowns.
The Rams Control Their Destiny
Los Angeles controls its own playoff destiny. In terms of their division, they currently rank second, just one game behind the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams hold a tie-breaker over the Seahawks due to their victory in the first head-to-head matchup on Nov. 3. The last game of the season for the Rams is against the Seahawks, which will likely determine the NFC West title. Even if Los Angeles secures only a Wild Card spot, they will be a formidable team to go against in January — a scary one at that.
Who is the better bet to win the NFC West? 🤔

Looking Foward
The Los Angeles Rams had a spectacular performance against the Buffalo Bills, resulting in a thrilling game with a combined total of 86 points, the most for any game this season. This matchup could be considered a contender for Game of the Year. The Rams showcased their offensive talent with standout players like Stafford, Nacua, Kupp, and Williams, putting their playoff hopes in a strong position.
