Best Bet No. 1: Green Bay Packers -4 (-112)

Although the Panthers won last week and the Packers are riding a two-game winning streak, there’s no denying that Green Bay is a far superior football team. These are the same Packers that beat the Lions and Chiefs in back-to-back games just last month. Jordan Love, who has 11 passing touchdowns and just one interception over his last five games, should have no trouble snapping Green Bay’s losing streak, winning handily on Sunday. Nobody will be surprised if the Packers win by two touchdowns, so why not hammer this bet?

Best Bet No. 2: Nick Mullens UNDER 258.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Perhaps I didn’t learn my lesson after I took the under on Mullens’ yards last week and he went (way) over. However, that was against the Bengals, whose defense has allowed the third-most passing yards in the NFL over their last three games. This week, Mullens faces a much tougher matchup in the form of the Lions, who shut down Russell Wilson and the Broncos last weekend. Detroit has allowed an average of just 215.7 passing yards over its last three games, and they should feast against Mullens and the Vikings. Plus, it’s no secret that quarterbacks struggle more in their second start because teams start to figure out how to game plan for them.

Best Bet No. 3: Derrick Henry OVER 64.5 Rushing Yards (+105)

King Henry is going to bounce back from last week’s horrendous outing in which he totaled 10 scrimmage yards on 20 touches. Fortunately, he’s in a prime position to succeed this Sunday. For starters, the Titans will be forced to start Ryan Tannehill, whose ball security concerns will naturally lead to a run-heavy approach from the team. Furthermore, Tennesee’s opponent, Seattle, has been decimated by the run lately; their 162.3 rushing yards allowed per game over the last three weeks rank 30th in the league during that span. The Titans are getting the Seahawks at the right time and should capitalize, feeding Henry early and often.
