Gates’ Top NFL Team From Week 15

Buffalo Bills RB James Cook

Week 15 in the NFL has come to an end. This week was filled with unexpected upsets and backup quarterbacks leading their teams to victory.

One team that rallied to a win is the Buffalo Bills.

Chef James and His Five-Course Meal Performance

A huge reason why the Bills won was running back James Cook, who totaled 25 carries for 179 yards and one touchdown. In addition, Cook had two catches for an additional 42 yards and one touchdown through the air. This all came against the Dallas Cowboys’ third-ranked defense.

Running Down Their Throats is Key

While Cook led the way, the Bills rushed the ball down the Cowboys’ throats with four major contributors. Ty Johnson notched 54 yards, Josh Allen ran eight times for 24 yards and one touchdown, and Latavius Murry also scored on the ground.

Allen Protected The Football, It’s a Christmas Miracle

Speaking of Allen, see what happens when you do not throw an interception every game? Allen fixed the thing that has plagued him this season. He did not try to play hero football. He treated that football like it was his child, which is what he needs to do every game. Although he only completed seven passes for 94 yards, he did fix the interception problem.

The Defense Clamped the Offense

The Buffalo Bills’ defense clamped the Dallas Cowboys’ offense. This unit sacked Dak Prescott three separate times, and Christian Benford was also able to pick him off, notching the game’s lone interception. The Bills’ defense ultimately held Prescott, a top MVP candidate, to 134 yards and zero touchdowns. Dallas’ top pass-catcher was CeeDee Lamb with 53 receiving yards. Meanwhile, their top rusher was Tony Pollard, who contributed 52 yards on the ground.

Playoffs

We are now at that point of the season where every game matters. It is, after all, the most wonderful time of the year. Buffalo lies just outside of the playoff picture, but they still have three games left against the Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots, and Miami Dolphins. Those three games will be hard-fought for Buffalo, emphasizing the “any given Sunday” mentality that the NFL has embraced this year.
