Best Bet No. 1: Joe Burrow OVER 25 Rushing Yards +320
It’s been a fairly unconventional start to the 2022 NFL season for 25-year-old Joe Burrow and the Cats. Through 3 games, the Bengals sit at 1-2 with Burrow posting an underwhelming (and somewhat surprising) six touchdowns to four interceptions. Needless to say, these statistics are certainly uncharacteristic for one of football’s best quarterbacks. This evening, however, changes all of that as Burrow is about to get unleashed. For a team like Miami who struggles with their pass defense and gives up a ton of yards, this is the ideal spot for Burrow to shine under the bright lights of Thursday Night Football both through their air and on the ground. An overall value of +320 on 25 rushing yards almost seems too good to be true. Ride with the over on this one.
Best Bet No. 2: Bengals Money Line (-200)
After starting the 2022 NFL campaign 0-2, the Bengals bounced back in Week 3 on the road against the New York Jets. More importantly, Cincinnati looked much more like the team that marched all the way to the Super Bowl last February. Early projections already slot Burrow in as a (low) QB1 on Thursday evening, which is excellent news for fantasy owners (and betting fanatics) alike. After an emotional victory against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, this seems like a bit of a trap game for the Dolphins on the road against a highly-motivated Bengals team. Joe Burrow has himself a night on primetime, and that in and of itself will be the difference in this one. Don’t overthink it; take the Bengals at home.
Best Bet No. 3: Ja’Marr Chase OVER 100 Receiving Yards (+280)
Ja’Marr Chase is one of football’s most talented and explosive receivers. The picture-perfect “partner in crime” to his current quarterback and former college teammate at LSU, Chase is primed for a mammoth night. When you look at the line of 100 yards, you see a fairly achievable stat for someone as skilled as Chase. This is a favorable spot for Chase, and one that I think he’ll exceed with flying colors. Look for Burrow to smash this total against the Phins. Lock this one in as soon as you can, football fans.
