Why is Vini Jr. the World Cup’s Most Exciting Young Player?
Vini Jr. is coming off a fantastic season. His 17 goals in La Liga play made him the Spanish top flight’s third-highest scorer. In addition, his 22 goals this season were a career-high and they made him Real Madrid’s second-highest scorer. Furthermore, his playing abilities strongly improved. His season stats explain a lot, but his skills and behavior on the pitch tell a bigger story. He has been developing well since he arrived at the club in 2018.
Last November, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said he was so impressed with Vini Jr. that he believes the young Brazilian will win the Ballon d’Or one day. Recently, Vini Jr.’s compatriot, Neymar, declared him the best player in the world. Even Karim Benzema has nothing but praise for him.
Vini Jr. has not only continued to positively develop as a player, but he has also worked on earning respect. All of the praise he receives is well-earned through hard work and positive results. Furthermore, his game-winning goal against Liverpool in the Champions League final simply speaks for itself. Vini Jr. has come a long way and he’s just getting started. Now, he is ready to represent Brazil on the world’s stage.
