In the wake of a horrible natural disaster or event, it is easy to see the bad in the world. Despite how negative things may seem, there are always people who want to help.
That was the case for the Boston Bruins, who partnered with the Boston Red Sox as well as the Tampa Bay Rays and Florida Panthers to raise money for relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Irma.
Bruins players Noel Acciari, Kenny Agostino, Patrice Bergeron, Brandon Carlo, Torey Krug, Adam McQuaid, Kevan Miller, Paul Postma and Ryan Spooner all came out to support the cause along with other players across all four franchises and, of course, Shawn Thornton.
