Tag Sale Tuesday for MLB DFS

Tag sale Tuesday for MLB DFS

Check out the prices on these players tonight. They are very good values as we bring you a couple of pitchers for $7,000 or less along with a few hitters for $3,500 or less. Mix these guys in and you can pay the premiums for the studs you want to anchor your lineups for the massive 12-game slate starting at 7 pm ET. Let’s check out the Tag Sale Tuesday for MLB DFS.

***All Prices Are DraftKings***

On the Bump

Dylan Cease – $7,000 – vs. Minnesota Twins

The young right-hander has been absolutely dominant his last two starts going 13 innings while allowing just four hits and no runs and striking out 20. He gets to face the struggling Twins tonight who have been held to three runs or less in four of their last five games. While the Twins would normally pose a threat, they are shorthanded right now without Byron Buxton and Luis Arraez.

Matthew Boyd – $6,300 – vs. Kansas City Royals

The Tigers southpaw missed his last start with some knee tendinitis but should be all systems go tonight. In his four outings before his early exit last time out, Boyd had four quality starts and averaged seven innings per game. While he doesn’t offer incredible strikeout upside, he only allowed 20 hits and two walks in those four starts (29 innings). On the Royals’ current eight-game losing streak they have scored just 21 runs and been shut out twice. Look for Boyd to take advantage of a reeling team.

On the Dirt

Marwin Gonzalez – 2B – $3,400

The super-utility guy is batting leadoff for the Red Sox tonight. While he went 0-for-4 yesterday, he has filled in admirably at second base while Kiké Hernandez and Christian Arroyo recover from injuries. Gonzalez had a seven-game hitting streak heading into last night going 10-for-31 in that span. Hitting at the top of Boston’s lineup is an enviable spot so take the cheap price and watch him rack up the points.

Seth Brown – 1B – $2,900

While Brown came into the season with no home runs in 88 career plate appearances, he sure has surprised everyone. He has five now in 63 PAs this season and has found himself batting second for the Oakland A’s. With a price below $3,000, pencil Brown in for a few GPPs.

On the Grass

Dylan Carlson – $3,300

A six-game hitting streak and three straight two-hit games? Yeah…I’ll take that for $3,300. While that streak hasn’t had an extra-base hit or a stolen base, he bats second in the lineup and has plenty of opportunities to score. The power-speed combo will show itself so you might as well take the price while Carlson is hot. He is my Home Run call tonight.

Robbie Grossman – $3,300

Grossman is hitting leadoff for the Tigers this evening. If you are sensing a theme here that’s because those are the guys you want especially when talking about value. Detroit’s outfielder is walking at an incredible 18.4 percent clip with three bombs and seven swipes on the year. While the lineup he is in isn’t that great, his floor is very safe and he is a great play for cash games.

Good Luck Everyone on Tag Sale Tuesday
