The 2021 NFL Draft is just hours away. While fan bases get ready to see who their favorite team picks, gamblers are looking for the best prop bets. This year’s draft class expects to be full of chaos and plenty of trade action as we could have five quarterbacks selected in the top 10 for the first time in the common draft era. However, gamblers don’t care about history unless it leads to money in their pockets. Here are my favorite prop bets for the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Justin Fields to be Selected Before Trey Lance (+115)
Tonight’s first three picks will be quarterbacks as Trevor Lawrence heads to Jacksonville, Zach Wilson to New York, and likely Mac Jones to San Francisco. After that, the following three picks expect to be non-quarterbacks. Then with Detroit and Carolina on the clock at picks seven and eight, they project to be prime trade spots for quarterback-needy teams like the New England Patriots. Reportedly they have had trade talks with both teams and even a potential deal in place with Carolina to move up. Their target is reportedly Fields. After an aggressive offseason that included spending plenty of money on adding weapons, expect the Patriots to trade up for Fields, leaving Lance as the final first-round quarterback waiting to be selected.
Alijah Vera-Tucker Draft Position Under 15.5 (-112)
Over the last 72 hours, no name is hotter than Vera-Tucker. Reports are that several teams in the mid to lower teens have made other draft plans as they expect Vera-Tucker to be a top 15 selection. Washington projected to be Vera-Tucker’s floor, and they made a trade for Ereck Flowers on Tuesday. NFL teams love Vera-Tucker’s versatility and the fact that he made an all-conference team at two different positions in college. Many believe Vera-Tucker can play all five offensive line positions, giving him even more value. With several offensive line needy teams like Denver, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, and Minnesota all picking in in the top 15, Vera-Tucker will easily get selected before pick 16.
Over 2.5 Pac-12 Players Selected in Round One (+265)
This prop comes with some risk. The Pac-12 will have two slam dunk first-round picks in USC’s Vera-Tucker and Oregon’s Penei Sewell. After that, it becomes very unclear who could be the third Pac-12 player selected in the first round. However, there are several potential late first-round players from the Pac-12. This list includes Washington’s Levi Onwuzurike, Joe Tryon, and Elijah Molden. Other possible late first-round guys include Oregon’s Jevon Holland and Stanford’s Davis Mills. The most likely one selected is Tryon as Buffalo (30), Baltimore (31), and Tampa Bay (32) all need help at edge rusher.
Trey Lance Draft Position Over 6.5 (+120)
As I mentioned early, we know the top three picks will be quarterbacks, with Lawrence and Wilson a lock to go with the first two picks. Meanwhile, reports are San Francisco has made their decision on who they will take. Many people around the league and in the media believe it will be Jones. Furthermore, the betting market has Jones a heavy favorite to go third overall. Another report says Atlanta has zeroed in on taking Kyle Pitts with the fourth pick. Cincinnati and Miami won’t select quarterbacks after picking their franchise guys last season. This means the soonest Lance can be selected is at pick seven. However, I don’t expect him to hear his name called until the ninth pick or later.
Over 6.5 Offensive Linemen Selected in Round One (+101)
To me, this prop seems like a lock to hit. Last year we had seven offensive linemen go in the first round, and this year’s class might be even more talented. Five offensive linemen are a lock to be selected tonight: Sewell, Rashawn Slater, Vera-Tucker, Christian Darrisaw, and Teven Jenkins. However, several other offensive linemen could go tonight: Liam Eichenberg, Dillon Radunz, Alex Leatherwood, and Landon Dickerson. With several offensive line needy teams picking in the bottom half of the first round like Chicago, Indianapolis, Tennessee, New York, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore, we are more likely to see eight offensive linemen selected tonight than under six.
