NBA DFS: Livi’s Locks – January 6

NBA DFS: Livi's Locks

Welcome to the first edition of Livi’s Locks. We are all about making some serious money by building an NBA DFS lineup around three valuable players that will likely guarantee you substantial return.
There is a huge slate tonight with 11 games beginning at 7 p.m. EST. Each night, my favorite locks will consist of a guard, forward, and center. Let’s get to it and win some serious money.

All Prices listed are DraftKings.

Trae Young (G, Atlanta Hawks) $9,600 vs. Charlotte Hornets

Young is playing like an All-Star and putting the league on notice this year. On the young season, he is averaging 28.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 9.1 assists per game. Tonight, he is facing a Hornets team that gives up the 25th-most points to opposing guards, so you can bet he is going to feast. Young has developed in to a “score-at-will” type player and that’s exactly what he will do all night.

Buddy Hield (F, Sacramento Kings) $6,600 vs. Chicago Bulls

The Kings forward gets a juicy matchup against a Chicago team that has given up the 24th-most points to the position. Hield is averaging 15.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game which translates to a smooth 25 fantasy points per contest. Out of all seven games played this year, Hield has scored over 20 fantasy points in every single game, and tonight is no different. He will put the Kings on his back and could possibly top 30 fantasy points. Get him in your lineup.

James Wiseman (C, Golden State Warriors) $4,900 vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Wiseman is playing at an extremely high level for a rookie who just entered the league. While he is coming off a subpar performance, he gets a much easier matchup tonight. The Clippers have given up the 22nd-most points to opposing big men. Wiseman should thrive tonight in what will likely be a high-scoring affair. On the year, he is averaging 11.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per contest. Wiseman is my lock to crack 25 fantasy points.

Build your lineup around this trio of Livi’s Locks and good luck!
