CFB Best Spread: North Texas -1.5
Louisiana Tech has a very mediocre defense (77th in FBS) this season. While that is usually a good thing for betting on the opposite side, North Texas also features a very pedestrian defense. Also, North Texas is running with a two-quarterback system. Why are we taking the “Mean Green” here? Well, Louisiana Tech has not played a football game since October 31st. With that poor run defense and a North Texas run game that is top-20 in the country, we are going with the smart play.
CFB Best Point Total: Air Force vs Utah State U/51
The triple-option against a horrible defense is the perfect recipe for an under. Expect Air Force to dominate in time of possession and keep this a low scoring game. Remember, a running clock is our friend in this situation.
CBB Best Bet: Utah -7.5
Even though I know little about college basketball, the record does not lie, I only pick winners on the hardwood. What caught my eye in this game is that Washington is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 Thursday games and Utah is 6-2 ATS in their last 10 home Thursday games. From what I can tell, all the experts are down on Washington and have high hopes for Utah.
