This past week the Boston Bruins, in partnership with O.R.G Packaging and its chairman Mr. Zhou Yunjie, made their second trip to China to teach residents about the sport of hockey.
Last year, Matt Beleskey and David Pastrnak joined Bruins alumni Andrew Raycroft and Bob Sweeney as they ran a hockey clinic for over 200 Chinese youth players.
This year, Torey Krug, Tuukka Rask and Hall Gill made their first appearances in China as David Pastrnak joined the crew for the second time around. Along with running clinics, the Bruins players and alumni have had the opportunity to explore Chinese culture and go sightseeing at various places around the country.
The Bruins are the first NHL team to partner with O.R.G packaging. Since the partnership with O.R.G began, the Bruins have hosted over 100 Chinese hockey players from 2015 to 2017. The Black and Gold will continue to host a different group of Chinese youth hockey players in Boston each year, as part of their five-year partnership with O.R.G. Packaging.
