On Saturday, the on-field portion of the 75th Reese’s Senior Bowl came to a close. This year’s roster included a large number of players who could be selected very early in the draft.
Let’s take a look at the players who moved themselves up draft boards with their performances.
Quinyon Mitchell
The Toledo defensive back was hovering around the top of cornerback rankings, but his performance this week could make him the first one off the board. Mitchell was praised for his competitiveness and consistently searched for the best competition.
During his career at Toledo, Mitchell spent the majority of his time in off coverage. In Mobile, National Team head coach Jeff Ulbrich had Mitchell work in press coverage, and he didn’t disappoint. There was only one rep during practice he lost, and it was more due to his footing than the receiver beating him.

1-on-1 interception from @ToledoFB CB Quinton Mitchell. It was only a matter of time. He’s made money this week pic.twitter.com/udEMNMMqBB

Taliese Fuaga
The Oregon State tackle won every rep in one-on-ones, including a highlight of throwing highly-regarded defender Laiatu Latu onto the turf. Fuaga has the perfect size an NFL team would want for their offensive line and is fluid enough to play both right and left tackle.

Nice rep from @BeaverFootball OT Taliese Fuaga. Very wide alignment from the rusher which can make it tough for OTs to beat them to the spot while not giving up the inside lane. Fuaga was still able to get to his mark, then had to power to shut him down pic.twitter.com/9howVgllj4

Ladd McConkey
McConkey was unguardable during the entire Senior Bowl process. NFL coaches will salivate over his speed. However, perhaps even more impressive is his elite route running. These traits will have an immediate impact on whatever team drafts him.
