Forward Juan Agudelo, midfielder Kelyn Rowe, and goalkeeper Cody Cropper of the New England Revolution were all called up to the USMNT January training camp, the club announced Monday.
The three Revolution players will participate in the national team’s annual January training camp and will train with the team from Jan. 10 to Jan. 29. The USMNT faces off in an international friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Jan. 28 in Los Angeles.
This is the second year that Agudelo has been chosen for the January training camp, his first time being in 2017. Agudelo has been capped by the USMNT 26 times, six of which came in 2017, and has scored three goals.
Rowe is making his January training camp debut in 2018 after breaking into the national team in 2017 for the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Rowe debuted for the USMNT against Ghana this summer and has one goal and one assist in his three games he has played for the U.S.
Cropper is making his first ever senior appearance for the USMNT this January. Despite making 28 appearances for the Under-20 and Under-23 teams for the USMNT, he has never played for the national team at the senior level.
The trio of Revolution players will miss two preseason games for New England and will rejoin the club after the January camp ends.
