The NFL announced this year’s Pro Bowl rosters on Tuesday night and receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, as well as outside linebacker Shaquil Barrett, have made this year’s team.

The star-studded trio represents the largest contingent of Buccaneers in the league’s yearly all-star exhibition since the 2015 season. That season, then-rookie Jameis Winston joined Doug Martin, Logan Mankins, Lavonte David, and Gerald McCoy in Honolulu.

This is the second-consecutive, and third overall Pro Bowl nod for Evans while both Godwin and Barrett are first-time electees.

The selections of Evans and Godwin mark the first time in team history two receivers have made the Pro Bowl in the same season. A feat not lost on the fifth-year veteran:

“It’s always an honor to be named to the Pro Bowl, but especially this year because I get to experience it with Chris,” said Evans. “To be the first pair of receivers in Buccaneers history to go the Pro Bowl in the same season is awesome. We both work hard to be considered among the best in the league and each of us getting chosen shows that our efforts are paying off.”

Evans and Godwin currently rank in the top-5 in the NFL in both receiving yards and touchdown receptions making up by far-and-away the league’s most productive duo.

Barrett’s election, too, was well-deserved. The Buccaneers’ breakout sensation currently leads the NFL in sacks with 16.5 (currently tied with Warren Sapp for the team’s all-time single-season record) and is also tied for first in forced fumbles with six.

The former Denver Bronco entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He joined Tampa Bay as an unrestricted free agent this past offseason and is currently playing on a one-year contract.

The 2020 Pro Bowl will be played on January 26 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
