Another Thursday nighter is upon us, football fans, and with that comes a golden opportunity to make some money. This week’s rendition of Thursday Night Football features the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road against their divisional foes, the Cleveland Browns. Without further ado, let’s dive in and examine three intriguing bets to “get the juices” flowing this evening and increase your viewing pleasure.

Best Bet No. 1: Jacoby Brissett UNDER 196.5 Passing Yards (-110)

If there’s one thing we know about the Cleveland Browns’ offense early on this season, it’s that they absolutely love to run the football. In fact, through two weeks, 55 percent of Cleveland’s snaps have been running plays. This game has a mammoth night for running back Nick Chubb written all over it. In addition, Kareem Hunt should also play a prominent role in the action as a secondary running option for the Browns. With the ongoing threat of stud safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and the Steelers secondary to be wary of, look for Brissett to hand the ball off as early and often as he can. Take the Cleveland quarterback under 196.5 total passing yards on this one.

Best Bet No. 2: Najee Harris OVER 52.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Although running back Najee Harris hasn’t exactly “leaped from the page” as the marquee back in Pittsburgh this year, he enters Week 3 in a really nice spot against the Browns. After the disappointing loss to the New England Patriots at home on Sunday, Harris and his mates in black and yellow get a chance to bounce back in a short week against a division rival on national television. Even with the slow start to the campaign, 52.5 total rushing yards certainly seems like a low bar for Harris in a game that is destined to see a ton of hand-offs from both teams. This particular prop bet almost seems too good to be true. Pounce on this one, football fans.

Best Bet No. 3: UNDER 38.5 Points Scored (-110)

Although some sports books across Canada and the United States opened their game lines at 40 and 40.5, many have come in under 40 total points, signifying the potential for a low-scoring encounter at FirstEnergy Stadium tonight. With both the Browns and Steelers possessing “run-first” styles of offense, plus the up-and-down play of Mitch Trubisky, this makes this bet all the more appealing. Even with the injury to star defensive end T.J. Watt, the Steelers still boast one of the meanest defenses in football, having allowed just 37 points in regulation through two games thus far this season. Look for a close, evenly-contested game that may even come down to the final possession. Don’t overthink this one; lean towards the under.

There you have it: a few intriguing bets to kick off Week 3 in the National Football League. Enjoy it to the fullest and good luck.
