March 29 & 31

The Milwaukee Bucks will be on the road with games against the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets. These teams have produced some entertaining encounters in recent matches, including verbal confrontations that fans seem to enjoy. Since the Sixers or the Nets are possible postseason opponents, the Bucks might as well use these games as a warm-up or a preview of what to expect in the playoffs.

The Bucks are in a race with the Sixers for the No. 2 spot in the Eastern Conference. They also know that getting the number two spot could come with a disadvantage because it could lead to a potential match-up with the Nets in the playoffs. The defending champions have to think about what path to choose and should be wary of the Nets who seem to have a healthy Kevin Durant right now.

March 30

If the Golden State Warriors won’t have Stephen Curry when they face the Phoenix Suns, then this game suddenly becomes a battle between the shooting guards. Klay Thompson and Devin Booker better be ready. What an amazing show it will be if both players, who are known for their mid-range and long-range games, get the hot hand and start shooting the lights out.

The Warriors are not the same without their main players. When Thompson finally came back from injury, Draymond Green was sidelined. When the news went around about Green’s recovery, Curry’s name entered the injury list. The starters of the San Francisco squad haven’t been healthy at the same time and are now entering a crucial part of the season with a limp.

April 1

It’s no exaggeration that this game between the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans, in Arena, might be the most exciting one of the week. These two teams could have the same record or be separated by just one game when the day starts. Now the thrilling race for the ninth spot transforms into a must-watch game as both teams fight for home-court advantage if ever they’ll meet in the Play-in Tournament.

April 3

The Los Angeles Clippers will be taking their turn hosting the Pelicans. This game becomes fascinating because the Clippers could lose this game intentionally. Why would they do that? It’s simple. If you’re the Clippers, you want the Pelicans to get the ninth spot while the Lakers grab the 10th spot. In the 10th spot, will have the daunting task of having to win two games just to reach the playoffs. To make sure that their crosstown rival will have the longest route to the playoffs, the Clippers could simply tank this game to help the Pelicans secure ninth place.
