Corrigan’s Gambling Corner: College Football Week 4

Corrigan’s Gambling Corner: College Football Week 4

by October 3, 2020 0 comments

Much like every week, I went undefeated in the College slate of games and then stunk in the NFL. For the record, I am undefeated on college football bets this season and have no intention of stopping that hot streak anytime soon. I have decided to split up the NCAA and NFL bets into separate articles so each one gets the most attention possible on the actual day of the games.

2020 Record: 18-13

Oklahoma -7.5 (-110) vs Iowa State

I think we are overreacting to last week’s collapse for Oklahoma. Spencer Rattler struggled, but let’s remember that it is only his second career college start. The kid is an absolute baller and he will be in the Heisman conversation for his entire career. Oklahoma is still very good, even if their playoff chances took a massive hit. I love Oklahoma in a blow out this week.

Auburn vs Georgia O/41.5 (-110)

This is going to be an awesome game. While it might not be your typical high scoring SEC game, 41.5 points is a very small number for two really good teams. I know that Bo Nix and Auburn did not really impress last week and Georgia looked awful, but this is going to be a really good, close game. If Georgia starts JT Daniels, this will be a lock.

South Carolina vs Florida -16.5 (-110)

I was very big on Florida’s offense coming into the year and they proved me right against Ole Miss last week. Kyle Trask to Kyle Pitts is something you are going to hear a lot this year. While South Carolina was fairly impressive against a rising Tennessee program last week, Florida is a little bit different. They are a legit National Championship contender.

Texas A&M vs Alabama O/54 (-110)

Alabama really did not get that much love heading into the season. This is most likely because they missed the playoffs for the first time last season. However, this Alabama team is the deepest in the country. I was really high on Texas A&M heading into the year, but this Alabama team is just flat out incredible. I’m staying away from the spread because of how much I like Texas A&M, but this point total is too good to pass up.
