Tonight we have the battle of winless teams. The Denver Broncos head east to New York to take on the Jets. The team’s fan base and fantasy football players will have their eyes glued to the game, watching every play with the utmost attention. For gamblers, their only rooting interest is whatever will lead to money in their pocket. However, which bets should they place for tonight’s game? Here are five bets gamblers should consider placing.

Be sure to place your bets with Jazz Sportsbook for the best odds and excellent promotions.

Sam Darnold Under 227.5 Passing Yards (-112)

If by some chance, you haven’t watched any football this season, Darnold has been awful. He has thrown for over 180 yards just once this season. The Jets will be without Denzel Mims, Breshad Perriman, and Le’Veon Bell tonight. However, they expected to get Jamison Crowder back. Darnold’s QBR this season is just 23.9, which is almost twice as bad as it was last season. While the Broncos will be without a few defensive stars, Darnold is a safe bet to throw under 227.5 yards tonight.

Melvin Gordon Over 16.5 Rushing Attempts (-134)

Last week the Broncos found themselves down early to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, that won’t be the case tonight, so expect a heavy workload for Gordon. Especially as Phillip Lindsay is expected to miss tonight’s game. In the first two games of the season, Gordon averaged 17 rushing attempts per game. With the Broncos wanting to protect Brett Rypien and limit the number of times he throws, expect Gordon to get his first 20 rushing attempt game of the season.

Marcus Maye Over 6.5 Tackles (-112)

So far this season, the Jets have lacked bright spots. However, one of them has been the play of Maye. He leads the team in assisted and total tackles this season, as well tied for the team-high in sacks. Maye has 25 tackles this season and has recorded at least seven in every game this season. He will likely spend plenty of time near the line of scrimmage, either covering Noah Fant or playing a role against the running game. Maye should have no problem putting together his fourth straight game with over 6.5 tackles tonight.

Melvin Gordon Over 2.5 Receptions (-177)

In three games this season, Gordon has gone over 2.5 receptions twice, with the third time just missing the mark with two receptions. In addition to protecting Rypien by running the ball with Gordon, look for them to design a handful of screens to get the ball out of Rypien’s hands quickly. With Courtland Sutton out for the season, Gordon is the veteran and most proven pass catcher on the team. Expect the Broncos to give Gordon over 25 total touches tonight with at least four in the passing game.

Sam Darnold Over 0.5 Interceptions (-157)

Not only has Darnold struggled to rack up the passing yards, but he’s been a turnover machine. He has just three touchdowns compared to four interceptions, including three interceptions last week against the Indianapolis Colts, including two returned for a touchdown. Furthermore, Darnold has averaged more than one interception per game for his career. While the Broncos have just one interception this season, they should have no problem getting interception number two off of Darnold tonight.
