by September 20, 2020 0 comments

In Sunday’s AFC South Division matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars were in Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans. The Jaguars came in at 1-0, off of a Week 1 upset over Philip Rivers and the Indianapolis Colts.

The Titans meanwhile also came in at 1-0 after surviving a disastrous kicking performance by Stephen Gostkowski in his Titans debut, in Denver. The winner would be alone atop the division albeit just two weeks into the season. The Jaguars were looking to end the Titans recent stranglehold in the series, having won five of the last six. The lone Jaguars victory came last season with Gardner Minshew under center.

The Titans would be without second-year receiver A.J. Brown, who was out with a knee injury, as well as one of the key defensive offseason acquisitions Vic Beasley who was out for his second straight game. The Jaguars on the other hand were at full strength after defensive end Josh Allen and tight end Tyler Eifert were both cleared to play on Friday.
