New England Patriots fullback James Develin has called it a career.
In an announcement on social media, the Super Bowl champion announced his retirement.
Develin, 31, went undrafted out of Brown University and started his NFL journey with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2010.
He signed with the Patriots in 2012 where he remained for the rest of his football career.
As a Patriot, Develin won three Super Bowls and made the Pro Bowl in 2017 scoring five career rushing touchdowns and 31 receptions for 222 yards.
The Brown University alum’s blocking ability and versatility made him one of the best at what was thought to be a dying position.
