It is a new chapter in Tampa Bay.
New Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady addressed the media to talk about adjusting to a new team.
“It’s a lot of hard work, commitment,” Brady told the media. “Again, I don’t know when our first OTA will be, there’s a lot of people I’m excited to meet. It’s gonna be a lot.”
Brady talked about his last days as a Patriot and his feelings towards head coach Bill Belichick and the rest of the brass.
“We spoke and had a great conversation and we spoke with coach Belichick and it was a great conversation also with Jonathan Kraft,” Brady said. ” I leave there with just great admiration for people and the organization. It’s a first class organization.”
The six-time Super Bowl champion admitted there are things that are just out of his control.
“I’m not responsible for how certain things work. I’m grateful for everything Mr.Kraft has done for me and my family,” Brady said. ” I can only speak about how I feel.”
He leaves New England with nothing but respect for his former team.
“There’s nobody who is a bigger fan of the Patriots than me. It’s been a lot of days responding to a lot text messages from former teammates and people I’ve gotten to meet over the years,” Brady said. “There are going to be relationships that are going to be maintained. It will certainly be different and that’s how life is at times. But what won’t be different is what our roles are.”
