With the start of spring training only weeks away, the Boston Red Sox roster is still full of question marks. While many of their key players are expected to return, the right side of the infield has undergone significant change. Brock Holt and Mitch Moreland remain unsigned and are not expected to return, while Dustin Pedroia has only appeared in nine games over the past two years. Despite the uncertainty, the Red Sox do have a few young players that will be relied on heavily this coming season.
The Carolina Panthers were poised to make a deep playoff run in the 2019 season. Cam Newton finally seemed to be fully healthy and with a supporting cast consisting of Christian McCaffrey, D.J. I don’t think there was one person that follows the NFL, who wasn’t caught off guard by the sudden news of Andrew Luck’s early retirement. With the announcement coming the last week of August, the Colts were left scrambling with only a handful of weeks to find a starting quarterback before the opening of the regular season. With so few options available, backup Jacoby Brissett became the most logical choice at that point. Brissett would be signed to a two year $30 million dollar contract, just a week after Luck’s retirement.

In a battle between two Tigers teams, LSU came out on top.
