One of the oldest New England Patriots is set to walk away from football after last night’s loss to the Tennessee Titans.

39-year-old tight end Benjamin Watson told reporters that this is likely his last football game he will ever play.

“There’s a time when it’s time to move on, especially with my family. Putting them through another move, this was tough for us,” Watson said. “It’s hard to say because I love football. I love what I do. But it’s time to figure out what’s next.”

The Patriots drafted Watson in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft and won a Super Bowl with the team in his rookie season.

Watson moved on to Cleveland before starting one of two stints with the New Orleans Saints.

He recorded career highs as a Saint in 2015 with 74 catches, 825 yards and six scores before moving on to Baltimore as a free agent in 2016.
