With the ninth overall pick, the Washington Wizards select Deni Avdija, G, Israel.

Deni is a stud. His game speaks for itself. He is a 6-foot-9, 215- pound smart player. He is an excellent passer with a good field goal percentage and can grab those pesky loose balls. Deni averaged 13.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. He brings the Wizards some well-needed athleticism off the bench and will probably be a leader on the second unit. As his stats show, he is a pass first guard and will look to get other people involved first.

Phoenix Suns, you’re on the clock.
