2020 NBA Draft Fifth Overall Pick

With the fifth overall pick in the 2020 NBA DRAFT, the Cleveland Cavaliers select, Isaac Okoro, Forward, Auburn.

This is one of my favorite picks in the draft so far. Okoro is a fantastic pick here for the Cavs. At 6’6 225 pounds, he gives the Cavs a much-needed boost on the defensive end. He is a winner. He is comparable to Jimmy Butler, he is a defensive-minded forward, his scoring isn’t there, but his work ethic is definitely there. He can defend the one, two, three, and four. The Cavs needed some defense and they got it right here with Okoro.

Atlanta Hawks, you’re on the clock.
