The IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship: A Tournament like no other

The annual IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship, a tale as old as time. Known for its full-on display of high-level skill, magic, screaming, passionate hockey fans, and serving as a feeder tournament for future NHL stars alike, few would attest to the fact that the Word Juniors are a holiday tradition like no other for hockey fans. For over 30 years, many major sports networks across both Canada and the United States (i.e. TSN, RDS, NHL Network, etc)  have broadcasted and showcased the World Juniors. But what really makes this tournament so special? What is it about this “tourney” that captivates audiences year after year?

Zlatan returns to Milan

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the greatest personalities not only in soccer but in all sports. The veteran striker has been on nine different club teams since the year 2000 and is considered one of the most electric players in the sport. At the end of the MLS season where Zlatan played for the LA Galaxy, he posted on Twitter poking at the idea he was leaving the club and Major League Soccer all together to head back overseas, the only question was where. Well now we know, Zlatan will be heading back to Italy to play for Serie A club AC Milan on a six-month contract to finish out the season with an option for a further year afterward.

NHL DFS DraftKings Ice Picks December 27th, 2019

Happy Holidays Puck Lovers! Hopefully everyone is enjoying some sort of holiday break. The NHL returns to action with a full schedule of 11 games Friday after a brief hiatus for Christmas. Of all the games, we are targeting the Maple Leafs at New Jersey, Columbus at Washington, the Hurricanes at the New York Rangers and the Vegas Golden Knights visiting the Anaheim Ducks.
