Report: New England Patriots Confident Isaiah Wynn Starts Sundayby Mike Sullivan November 22, 2019 0 comments
Patriots left tackle Isaiah Wynn has had the region of New England chomping at the bit to see him get out there and protect Tom Brady’s blindside, and it looks like we may be on the verge of seeing that this weekend.

Wynn starting against the Cowboys would go a long way in providing protection for his quarterback as well as another boost that this offense has been missing. If everything pans out correctly, this could also provide a nice spark for the running game — a unit that, as of late, has been borderline nonexistent.
Having Wynn to combat the likes of Michael Bennett, DeMarcus Lawrence, and Robert Quinn is much more appealing than starting Marshall Newhouse once again. Newhouse has given the team his best effort and should be commended for that, but at the end of the day, he is seriously lacking in the skill needed to play such a vital position on the offense.
A healthy Isaiah Wynn is one of the final steps in getting this offense ready for the final stretch run of the regular season and hopefully deep into the playoffs.
