Since we last met, several rookies, have risen and fallen in the rookie hierarchy, and for various reasons. With many rookies continuing to have impressive scoring performances, it’ll be the little things that separate the candidates as the season progresses.
Javon Kinlaw has been an unstoppable force for the Gamecocks on the defensive line. He bursts through opposing offensive lines and creates an immense amount of pressure. Kinlaw doesn’t just show up against the Gamecocks’ weaker opponent. He plays well against conference opponents such as Alabama as well.
