Fan Source, managing network for, announced today details regarding a brand new basketball website that will launch this summer. As explained in the Fan Source mission statement, the world of sports is a vast one and there’s a never-ending love for the players, teams, and sports themselves. Most sports fans do not have constant access to their favorite teams, for a variety of reasons. Our mission is not only to provide an opportunity but also provide engaging content and communication that brings them closer to the game.

With that in mind, Fan Source is excited to announce the launch of the third of four sports sites affiliated with the brand. The NBA site launch comes just more than nine months following the launch of the first site, ChiefsBlitz, and four months after the launch of the second site, NFL Fan Blitz. Fan Source intends to launch a fourth sports site in the coming months.

With the announcement of the new NBA page, which will go public on June 17, 2019, following the NBA finals, comes a flurry of opportunities and announcements regarding staffing.

Fan Source ownership has spent multiple weeks preparing for the launch of our new hoops page, including conducting an internal search from our current staff to find passionate basketball fans who would be interested in becoming the new content director on the NBA side of things. This search will conclude Sunday, with an announcement set to be made that afternoon.

Speaking of an NBA staff, today’s announcement opens the door for dozens of passionate NBA fans to begin or continue their sports writing careers. If you or someone you know has interest in joining our team as an NBA contributor or editor, fill out our application here!
