Report: Patriots Sign Tight End
The New England Patriots addressed a huge position of need reportedly agreeing to terms with tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins.
NFL insider for ESPN Field Yates reported the move just moments ago.
Source: the Patriots have signed veteran TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins to a one-year deal. Great chance to be a factor in their passing game.

Jenkins, 26, was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft but never lived up to that billing in the Florida panhandle.
He had his best season with the New York Jets in 2017 recording 50 receptions for 357 yards and three scores. With past quarterbacks being Josh McCown, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Blake Bortles, Tom Brady will by far be the best quarterback he’s had throw him the ball in his career.
It shouldn’t be difficult for Jenkins to make the roster with the inexperienced crop of tight ends in Stephen Anderson, Matt LaCosse, Jacob Hollister, Ryan Izzo, and Jakob Johnson.
