Tate is coming off a 2018 season spilt between the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles.
Combined between his time with the two teams Tate racked 795 receiving yards and caught four touchdowns.
The wide receiver is only a year removed from a 2017 season where he finished with over 1,000 receiving yards a mark he has met twice in his carer.
Tate brings playoff experience to a now young Giants roster as he’s played in two super bowls including winning super bowl 48, with the Seahawks in 2013 and helped the Eagles reach the divisional round of the 2018 playoffs.
With the addition of Tate, the Giants now take pressure off of Saquon Barkley and Sterling Sheppard who were seemingly going to have a lot of ground to cover with Odell Beckham traded.
